Wedding Suits

Since Bookster was originally established in 2007 the demand for our suits for weddings and civil partnerships has grown and grown. We know how important such a special occasion is, including meeting the deadline. We do not only make groom suits; the best man, parents and ushers can also be catered for.

Choosing Tweed for your wedding suit makes perfect sense. Not only will you have a wider choice of colours and weights of cloth for a unique wedding suit, you will have a versatile outfit that will last for years.

We offer much more than tweed, we also work with other fine quality fabrics. Colourful patterned wool worsteds like ‘Glorious 12th’ by Porter and Harding, as well as wonderful Suiting cloths woven in Yorkshire in Wool Worsted, Irish Linen and Mohair.

You are welcome to visit us in either Leeds or London by appointment for a fitting and consultation. However, it doesn’t matter where you are in the world, we still offer the most personal service. Because of our experience, we can ensure the perfect fit and guide you through the myriad of cloth and design choices for your special day..

Note that because of the individual nature of our splendid garments on average it takes us approximately 8 weeks to make them so do not leave it too late. We recommend that you order 3 months before the date of your wedding. We will always refuse to accept an order if we cannot guarantee your deadline, and we would not entertain trying to rush an order through, our high standards do not allow for that.

Our showroom in Newent, Gloucestershire is open to visitors by appointment.  Come along and view fabric samples, ready to wear garments and check your sizing.  You are very welcome to call or email to let us know when you would like to come.
