Description
The traditional American jacket goes by the name of “the sack” which actually comes from the French “sacque”, which is a particular construction technique for coats and jackets. The jacket was originally made out of only two straight fabric panels, but we and have kept the side panel centre seams, only omitting the front dart and straightening the side panels.
The Sack Jacket is tailored in a relaxed cut, soft shoulders with no front dart and is traditionally made with a 3/2 roll and Hook Vent. All or some of these options can be chosen below. Please note that currently unlined or buggy lining is not possible with the hook vent.
