This light to medium weight tweed is ideal for jackets or suits for autumn, winter and spring.

The Islay Woollen Mill was built in 1883 and remains unusually complete with waterwheel and early machinery including two Dobcross looms dating from the 1920s. Since its re-opening in 1981, the Mill is a traditional family-run business.

Cloth designed by the Islay woollen mill has featured in Hollywood blockbusters, including Braveheart, Forrest Gump, Rob Roy, Warhorse, and more recently The Big Friendly Giant.
