Ever since 1884, the Leichtfried Loden mill in Austria has specialised in producing high quality woollen cloths & loden fabrics made primarily from extra fine Merino wool. This wonderful cloth benefits from the addition of 20% Alpaca which gives a rich pile to the brushed fabric.
A real luxury cloth but practical with a long history. Beautiful to wear, warm, comfortable. In the form of a full Norfolk jacket we think it is a particularly wonderful combination. Loden is available in other colours the most popular is green but we also offer navy and camel.
