Bookster was born from a desire to produce unique high quality garments with choices for our customers far beyond what was available to the modern gentleman. We pride ourselves at retaining the values of that goal over the years. Quality of cloth and craftsmanship is our chief priority alongside our customers satisfaction.

Starting online in 2007 we introduced The Bookster Original Made to Order Tweed Jacket which was available Made to Order Online. The Original was and is our current Hacking Jacket with its distinctive silhouette and optional collar tab.  With a choice of only 6 cloths and colourful linings and just a handful of options, we quickly attracted a following of loyal customers and established Bookster as a pioneer in online tailoring.

Due to our customers demand we have slowly added a larger choice of tailored garments; the Classic Jacket, Sack Jacket Shooting Jacket and Full Norfolk Jacket. Trousers Waistcoats, Gilets and Caps have facilitated a wide range of possibilities for Suits.  The introduction of many different weights and patterns of tweeds, fine Suiting and Cotton Cloths means that we can offer excellent quality suits and separates for all occasions. To top it all off choose an Overcoat or Covert Coat in superior quality English Coatings. All garments are available Made to Measure.  We've kept the online measuring system as simple as possible to achieve a good fit,  but please get in touch if you need more precise adjustments.
